50mm Polyurethane Cleanroom Sandwich Panel is an AILV modular panel solution for cleanroom wall and ceiling systems. It combines color-coated steel facings with polyurethane. Final dimensions, facing material, surface finish and connection details are configured to the project requirements.
Product Configuration Guide
| Specification | Listed Construction / To Confirm | Project Note |
|---|---|---|
| Panel type | Machine-Made Cleanroom Panel | For modular cleanroom walls, partitions and ceilings |
| Nominal thickness | 50 mm | Other constructions are reviewed against project requirements |
| Facing | Color-coated steel | Steel grade, sheet thickness, coating and colour are confirmed in the quotation |
| Core configuration | Polyurethane (PU) | Exact material grade and density are project-specific |
| Panel dimensions | Project-specific width and length | Subject to manufacturing, transport and installation limits |
| Edge / connection | Project-specific modular joint | Confirmed on approved shop drawings |
| Surface finish | Cleanable coated-steel options | Cleaning-agent and disinfectant compatibility must be reviewed |
| Documentation | Requirements reviewed before quotation | State the tests and records needed; availability must be checked for the proposed construction |
Specification note: This is a product selection guide, not a tested performance specification. Final configuration is confirmed in the quotation and drawings. Required test reports or compliance evidence must be identified and their availability checked before ordering.
Planning Machine-Made Polyurethane (PU) Panels
Repeated panel layouts
Provide repeated module widths, quantities and joint details. Review nonstandard openings and cut-outs separately.
Specify the PU assembly
Confirm the polyurethane core, metal facing and required thickness. Thermal or fire values need evidence for the complete assembly.
Coordinate the interfaces
Review wall-to-ceiling joints, door frames and service penetrations with the enclosure layout.
Typical applications
For pharmaceutical, medical-device, electronics, food and laboratory enclosures, select the construction against the room layout, cleaning conditions and project requirements—not the industry name alone.
Enclosure and Manufacturing Reference Images
These photographs illustrate manufacturing and installed enclosure interfaces; they do not identify a polyurethane core, the 50 mm model or tested panel performance. The supplied construction is confirmed in the quotation and drawings.
Frequently asked questions
What should I provide when selecting a PU panel for a temperature-controlled area?
Share the indoor and adjacent-area temperatures, humidity, operating pattern and any condensation concerns. These inputs help the project team review the complete enclosure construction. This page does not state a tested thermal value or confirm that the nominal thickness meets a particular temperature-control requirement.
Can PU and rock wool panels share the same facing and connection details?
Common facing and connection details may be shared where the approved design allows. However, a similar external appearance or joint does not make core materials interchangeable. Confirm the specified core and complete panel assembly before substituting one construction for another. The CleanCore system guide explains the common enclosure details. Use the material comparison guide to discuss alternative cores.
What should be checked for cleaning and moisture exposure?
Describe the cleaning agents, frequency and any wash-down exposure. Review the facing, coating, seals, junctions and openings together with the proposed PU construction. A core label or project photograph alone does not confirm compatibility with the intended cleaning conditions. Include these requirements in the quotation inquiry.
